I’ve been involved with U by Kotex and Girls For A Change for the past three years to help empower girls to advance their knowledge of their personal health and wellness. Now, as part of Generation Know—the first generation of girls committed to learning more about their health and bodies, we’re working together again to provide girls everywhere with the tools that they need to crush the taboos that society has created about girls’ health. Sadly, 63% of girls say that they don’t know how to start a conversation about their health, so what are you going to do to help us change this statistic? You can start by joining the thousands of girls, like me, who have already logged onto www.GenerationKnow.com to become part of the movement. For every activity performed, U by Kotex will donate $1 to Girls For A Change, up to $500,000. So if you want to help create social change, it’s simple; get in the know today :) Join the conversation, #iknow *This is a sponsored post

Dear ‘Little Sisters’
Dear ‘Little Sisters’,
You are beautiful because you are you. Never let anyone make you feel otherwise. Be who you want to be, trust yourself, and don’t be in a rush to grow older. You are only a young girl once, enjoy it and have as much fun as possible while it lasts. Most importantly, take care of yourself. Have confidence in everything that you do especially when it comes to getting the facts you need to know about your health.
Don’t let the taboos that society has placed on being a woman get in the way of achieving your dreams. Speak up, ask the questions, and get the facts you need to know about your changing body. I encourage you to help change the message about girls’ health by joining U by Kotex Generation Know, the first generation of girls committed to learning more about their health and bodies. And it’s all for a great cause because for everyone who does, we’ll donate $1 to Girls For A Change, up to $500,000. (more…)
Kicking Off U by Kotex Generation Know in NYC!
Q&A With Cosmopolitan
Hi loves. I recently sat down with Cosmopolitan to discuss my involvement in U by Kotex’s Generation Know Campaign and I just wanted to share the Q&A with you. You can read a little snippet above and then head over to www.cosmopolitan.com to check out the rest!
Oh Hello Good Morning America!!!!!!!
New York Fashion Week: Ban the Bland
Best Car Ride Ever. Period.
Hi my loves! This afternoon I helped announce an amazing fleet of stylish U by Kotex branded cars that will be traveling around NYC through February 16, giving free rides!! Each time someone rides in one of these cars, U by Kotex will donate to an amazing charity called Girls for a Change. Girls for a Change empowers girls to create social change in their communities which I think is so important. We all need to find our own voice and not be afraid to use it (you all know I’m not afraid to use mine LOL). If you’re not in New York but still want to get involved, just follow @UGetsReal on Twitter.
Cars will be making pickups at specific locations throughout the city (Lincoln Center – Corner of 62nd and 9th Avenue, and in the Meatpacking District – Hudson between Horatio and Gansevoort Streets) from now through February 16. Let me know if you all check it out!

Yup…Still Talking About Periods
Hi dolls. Kim, my mom and I had so much fun making those videos where we answered girls’ questions about periods so I wanted to give you all the opportunity to ask me your own questions right here on my blog. I know periods can be a touchy subject but that’s exactly what U by Kotex’s Getting Real Campaign is trying to change. Periods should be a topic that we feel comfortable discussing as women, not something we need to be all hush hush about. So let’s go people, bring on the questions! Ask me about periods, or feminine care or even questions about my own experiences growing up as a female. You know me, I’m more than happy to talk about ANYTHING! LOL.
Leave your question in a comment and I’ll select 10 to answer in a post next week. Can’t wait to hear what you’ve got for me :)
If you need inspiration, watch the second episode from the series we created, and you can watch the rest on the Celebuzz Getting Real Page.

Question from @Kardashianpedia: What inspired you to partner up with U by Kotex for Generation Know? #iknow
Answer: I got involved with Generation Know because I am all about empowering young women and girls to get the information they need to know to be confident about their health and bodies. I believe that there needs to be more education in this country about girls health because let’s face it, even I didn’t get all of the facts that I needed to know growing up. Generation Know, and the amazing organization Girls For A Change, are helping to empower girls nationwide to change the way our society talks about girls health in order to stop the spreading of misinformation that can be so harmful to our youth.
