Get the Look: Khloé’s Flat Iron Waves

I was inspired for a more bohemian feel for this look. I rough dried Khloe’s hair, only using my hands. Khloe has great texture to her hair, and I really wanted to just work with that. After her hair was dry, I set a deep side part. I used a medium sized t3 tourmaline 3/4″ curling iron, curling 1″ sections of hair, but pulling on them after I wrapped them around the iron to stretch the curl. This trick lets hair look more relaxed and natural, as opposed to curly. I used my flat iron to smooth out the ends of her hair and get rid of any fly away I saw. I used bobby pins to secure the side that was swept back and finished with a light veil of morrocan Oil cream and Oribe Superfine Hairspray and Klorade Dry Shampoo on her roots.

Get the Look: Khloé’s Sleek Blowout With Volume

-For this look, I applied Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice to her damp hair and on the roots for volume and body.

-I started with a sleek blow dry, using a large round brush. I then used a large barreled t3 tourmaline 1 1/4″ curling iron to create waves that went under on the ends and away from Khloé’s face in front.

-To give the look a little more polish, I used my flat iron to smooth out the hair around her face and the very ends of the rest of the hair for a really sleek, but movable, look.

-I finished with Oribe Superfine Hairspray and Kesari Indian hair oil on the ends.
