I just wanted to give a big thank you to my fabulous hairstylist for the entire X Factor season, Jen Atkin!!!!! Now everyone, please welcome her back for her final X Factor guest blog.

Khloe’s Three X Factor Finale Looks:

Because it was the finale of X Factor, we wanted to go out with a bang. Khloe had three wardrobe changes, so I had to time out these hairstyles so that they flowed from one to the next. I blew dry her hair using a large round brush to give her hair great body and fullness. I then used a medium sized curling iron to give her waves. I used Charlotte Ronson’s A Perfect Mess Beach Spray to enhance her waves and give them texture. I broke the waves up with my fingers so the texture would be a little more natural. I used Oribe Superfine Hairspray to give her hair for a workable hold that would let me change her style up when I needed to. (more…)

Please welcome back the lovely Jen Atkin as she explains how to get my hairstyle from night 1 of The X Factor finale! Take it away, Jen!

Khloé’s 60′s Inspired ‘Do

For this look, I wanted to bring out Khloe’s Bardot/Sweet Side. I was inspired by her outfit to give this really sexy, 60′s inspired look — here’s a quick and easy step-by-step guide on how I achieved it.

-While her hair was towel dried, I applied Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice to her roots.
-I blew dry her hair with a large round brush, directing the brush up for maximum volume.
-I then used a large barrelled curling iron on large sections of her hair and brushed them out.
-I used a rubber band to secure her ponytail for the half up, half down look.
-I finished with a light veil of Oribe Superfine Hairspray.

Hi babies. Here are some more pics from last night’s show, including pics of all of the incredible performances. It was an evening I will never ever forget — I have chills just thinking about it! I already miss my X Factor family!!!!

For my second look of the night, Monica dressed me in a black leather dress by The Row with Tom Ford shoes and an Untamed Petals by Amanda Judge headpiece.

I just want to give a shout out to my AMAZING glam squad, Monica Rose, Jen Atkin and Joyce Bonelli. It was so crazy changing into three different looks in three minute time frames and I seriously have no idea how they did it! With hair changes, wardrobe changes and makeup touchups, they had to work together as a team to get these looks together. It was absolute chaos but they killed it! Thank you girls for being so wonderful!!!

I kicked off The X Factor finale evening by conducting interviews as everyone arrived on the red carpet. It was a blast!!! I haven’t done that in years and I love being the one on the other end of the microphone asking all the questions LOL.

Monica dressed me in a gorgeous Valentino lace dress with Versace heels. I wore this look for the beginning of the show as well. I’ll be posting pics of my second look shortly so stay tuned!

I just wanted to offer a HUGE congratulations to the winner of The X Factor Season 2… Tate Stevens! How priceless is his face in this pic?! LOL. I love it. Tate is truly talented and I’m honored that I was able to witness that start of what will undoubtedly be a long and successful musical career.

I wore three looks last night, and this was the last of the three — I am wearing a Versace dress and Gianvito Rossi heels, styled by Monica Rose, hair by Jen Atkin and makeup by Joyce Bonelli. More pics coming soon and check out the video below from when Tate was crowned the winner. (more…)

Well people, this is it! The night we’ve all been waiting for, when the top 3 become the top 1, AKA… the WINNER! LOL. This has truly been the most unforgettable experience and I have loved every single second of it. I am so grateful to have been given an opportunity like this and I am still in shock that it will all be over tonight. Thank you to everyone who made my X Factor experience so special!
