While the simplicity of a little black dress never gets old, it’s always nice to spice up the look a bit with a funky pair of shoes or a cool accessory. Last week during my trip to NYC I paired a plain long sleeve dress with sexy thigh-high patterned boots which I think gave my look a bit of a 60s go-go dancer edge. What’s your favorite way to add a little flair to your look?
While in NYC I took a bit of a fashion risk with this head to toe leather look, and not to toot my own horn, but I think it looked pretty fab. I love having fun with my look and trying new things, and this was a cool way to add a little edge to a chic black & white outfit.
Usually I’m all about comfort when I travel, but I was so excited for my trip to NYC that I decided to get all glammed up for my flight on Wednesday (of course I took the makeup off mid-flight LOL, as you can see in the pics of me arriving). Nothing like a red lip and big shades to add a little glamour to your look. I just got these Dita sunglasses and I’m in love with them!
Now after a short yet VERY busy trip, it’s travel time once again.Thanks for the hospitality, New York! LA, here I come :)

On Wednesday night I went with my girlfriends to cheer on Lamar at the Clippers vs. Mavericks game. I wore my new Rich Soil lipstick tank which I am obsessed with! It sold out the first day but we’re producing more so I’ll let you all know when it’s available again. I paired it with another wardrobe favorite of mine — my red leather jacket by Veda, which we carry at DASH.

I was so busy with rehearsals for The X Factor finale that I never had a chance to post these pics from my recent trip to Miami. But I figured better late than never, right?! I went for Mason’s 3rd birthday party at Serendipity and had a blast just hanging out with my family in one of my favorite cities! Kourt got me this beautiful cardigan last year for Valentine’s Day and it’s still one of my staple wardrobe items — I could seriously live in it. It’s by Twelth Street and not only does it brighten up every outfit, but it’s so comfy too. I love it!
