As someone who is a big fan of wearing dark colors, one of my favorite ways to brighten up an outfit during the summertime is by adding a bright accessory. Whether it’s my bag, a vibrant piece of jewelry, my shoes or even my makeup, I always try to add a pop of color to my look! Recently for a lunch date with Scott I did just that but carrying a bright red bag with a long black maxi dress, as you can see in the pics I’ve included in the gallery. What do you think of this look?

Hey dolls! So I wanted to tell you about this fabulous accessory I’ve absolutely fallen in love with: lollipop charms! These gorgeous pieces are studded with crystals and are just a fun way to liven up your outfit. I’m serious when I say I’m in LOVE with mine.
Another reason I adore these charms is because they are for an amazing cause. The designer of this line is LL Cool J’s wife, Simone I. Smith. Simone was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2004, and she had to undergo an invasive procedure that left a scar by a lollipop tattoo she had, making the lollipop look like someone had taken a bite out of it! Simone decided to turn her experience into something positive by designing charms that represent her journey as well as the journey of other cancer victims. (more…)

Ok so some of you may be wondering what’s going on with me and the ear hats. Well here’s the deal — my ear hats make me happy! I believe life should be fun so I have to laugh at myself every day in order to be happy. Traveling isn’t fun so my ears made me have fun traveling alone LOL (in these pics I’m getting ready to head to the airport). I have sooo many more ear hats to come!
I finally made it to NYC yesterday to join my sisters in the search for a new DASH location! WOOOHOOOOOOOO! It had only been a few days but I was starting to miss them LOL. I absolutely die for New York and no matter how many times I visit, it never gets old.
Here are some pics from me en route to NY. I’m big on comfort when I travel and I was rocking some essentials — David Lerner leggings, an Alexander Wang top, a Twelfth Street cardigan from DASH, Louboutin boots and an Hermes Birkin bag.
