Team Up to Stop Bullying!

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner Team Up With Sears Against Bullying
Hi dolls. I just wanted to fill you in on a very important cause my sisters, my mom and I are taking part in. We’ve joined forces with Sears for the Team Up to Stop Bullying campaign to provide support for the millions of kids nationwide who face bullying every single day. I was one of them as a child so I understand firsthand the trauma it can cause, which is why as an adult it is so important to me to provide the resources and solutions victims of bullying need to cope with these issues. Sears’ anti-bullying campaign offers support for students, families, victims and schools who are coping with bullying issues, and I am very proud to be a part of this.

Check out our PSA below and then head over to sears.com/TeamUp for advice, empowering stories, helpline info or to donate, and don’t forget to take the Power Pledge to show your support! (more…)

Hi dolls. I just wanted to share an interview I did this week about my personal experiences with being bullied. It’s something millions of people face, and more importantly overcome and survive.

So Sick of Bullying-Related Tragedies

Khloe Kardashian Blogs About Bully Victim Rachel Ehmke
I am so sick of hearing stories in the news about teenagers and even CHILDREN taking their lives as a result of being bullied by their peers. It truly makes me sick. This week, it’s the tragic story of Rachel Ehmke, a beautiful 13-year-old girl who committed suicide on April 29 after being bullied for months, that we’re all reading about. It breaks my heart to say this, but who will it be next week? This needs to stop! I know I’m just one person, but it frustrates me so much to keep hearing the same heart wrenching story over and over again and kids STILL continue to torture each other. It just blows my mind that people can be so hurtful to one another. I’m sorry, I know I’m ranting, but I just had to vent. This all just makes me so unbelievably sad. I want to leave off with a message to the victims of bullying, and to the bullies themselves… (more…)

Join the Movement Against Bullying!

Bully Movie Trailer
Hi my loves. I just wanted to share something with you that truly broke my heart when I saw it — the trailer for the upcoming film, Bully. It’s a documentary that sheds light on every tragic aspect of bullying — the victims, the bullies, those we’ve lost, the suffering families, the flawed school systems and the movement to end it all. As someone who was bullied as a child, this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I was homeschooled during my teen years because I absolutely HATED going to school, so seeing something like this really hits home for me and I want nothing more than to educate as many people as possible on the topic. Bullying is downright cruel, there is no other way to define it, and kindness can go a long way. There are a lot of messages in this film that I won’t be able to do justice to in a blog post, so check out the film in theaters this Friday, March 30. For now, here is the incredibly moving trailer. I had goosebumps the entire time I watched it. (more…)

Hi dolls! Did you guys watch us on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Friday night?! It was such an honor to be a part of the fight against bullying with the Walker family and I feel truly blessed to have met them. The Kardashians Do Extreme Makeover!

Happy Friday dolls!!!!!!! Kim, Kourt and I recently did a segment with Extreme Makeover. We threw an anti-bully rally for the Walker family — a family whose son was the victim of bullying and took his own life as a result of it. I am honored to to have been given the opportunity to meet and work with a family who turned such a tragic, horrible event into something positive by trying to help others. I was bullied as a teen and I know how hard it was back then — I can’t imagine bullying in this day and age where social media is so huge. Now bullies attack from all angles. (more…)

Wear Purple to Show Your Support!

Khloe-Kardashian-Purple-For-Spirit-Day-102010wtmk.jpg

Today, along with millions of others, I am wearing purple in honor of the six boys who recently committed suicide as a result of the homophobic abuse they had endured either at home or at school. It is truly heartbreaking that there are people out there who could inflict cruelty so severe upon another that it ultimately led that person to take their own life.

Bullies Need to Get a Life!

Khloe-Kardashian-Hates-Bullies-Bullying-040810.jpg

Lately I’ve been hearing a lot of horror stories about bullying and I wanted to take a moment to vent my frustrations about the issue.  I’m sure most of you have heard about Phoebe Prince, a teenage girl who hung herself after constantly being badgered by kids at school.

I also heard about an eleven-year-old boy who took his life as well after being bullied by his peers.

The number of bullying-related suicides is increasing by the year and these stories truly break my heart.

I wasn’t bullied in school but I was made fun of because I was fat. Thank God I had older sisters who the minute I told them what had happened would actually show up at my school to scare the kids, but not everyone has that.  I have also always had thick skin — even now the media can often be bullies but I am older now and I can take it.  The difference is that today these kids are given so many different outlets to bully.  When I was a child and being teased, we didn’t have Twitter, Facebook or MySpace so bullying only went on during school hours.  Now kids go to school and are tortured, and they come home and still have to deal with it online — there’s no escape.
