Sunday Movie: Spice World

Spice World is one of my favorite movies ever! I honestly haven't seen it in so long but just watching the trailer makes me want to go out and rent it right now LOL. The best part about it is that nobody really knew how funny the Spice Girls were until this movie came out and they were absolutely hilarious in it!!!

I love how outrageous their style was -- I seriously die for those platforms LOL. I hope they reunite for a Spice World 2 haha.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is the original 80s teen classic! One of the best parts about this movie is that they were brutally honest about high schoolers -- no censoring, they just laid it all out on the table. LOL. Sean Penn played the infamous goofy stoner Jeff Spicoli and you can barely recognize him! He's made quite the transformation!

Watch the trailer below!

In honor of Halloween, I decided to do my faaaavorite scary movie, The Exorcist!!! No matter how many times I see this movie, it still scares the crap out of me! LOL. Honestly, the girl's face could give me nightmares for a year.

If you haven't seen it, watch the trailer below and you'll see exactly what I mean! Happy Halloween everyone!

With Halloween less than a week away, I decided to do Buffy the Vampire Slayer for my Sunday movie since it's all about Buffy kicking vampire ass!!!  Also, with the current vampire craze, I thought this movie was the perfect choice.

It came out in 1992 and stars Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry, and I absolutely die for Luke Perry!!! LOL.  Just watch the trailer below and I'm sure you'll all want to see it :)

What's your favorite vampire movie???

With two LA teams playing in the NL championship series right now, and as an LA native myself, I thought it would be fitting to choose A League of their Own for my Sunday Movie. I've probably seen it a hundred times and I honestly never get sick of it. I loooove Tom Hanks in this movie, he's amazing!!!

Watch the trailer to see what A League of their Own is all about!

What's your favorite sports movie???

Adventures in Babysitting is definitely one of my favorite 80s teen classics. It's about a girl named Chris who gets stuck babysitting when her dream date cancels and everything that could possibly go wrong does!

Chris gets a call from a friend who is stuck in downtown Chicago and she's forced to come to the rescue with the kids in tow.  Watch the trailer to get a better idea of the kinds of trouble Chris and the kids get into!

What's your most traumatic babysitting experience???

Sunday Movie: Mallrats

Kevin Smith films are some of the greatest comedies ever, but my personal favorite is Mallrats.  It's about two friends who both get dumped by their girlfriends on the same morning and spend the rest of the day analyzing their love lives and plotting ways to win them back.  You're also introduced to some pretty interesting characters along the way, included troublemakers Jay and Silent Bob.

Watch the trailer below to take a closer look!

Any good comedy recommendations for me????

Dazed and Confused is the ultimate 70s/stoner/high school classic!!! LOL. It's one of the funniest movies of all time and my friends and I used to watch it over and over again when we were younger.

Ben Affleck and Matthew McConaughey are both in it and you can barely recognize them.  They look soooo funny in their bell bottoms and hippie coifs.

Please tell me you all have seen this....and if not, go watch it RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!  LOL.  Enjoy your Sunday dolls.  xoxo

What's your favorite high school flick???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Sleepless in Seattle is one of my favorite chick flicks! It stars Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan and even though they don't share any screen time until the end, they still have such amazing chemistry throughout the whole film!!!!

Tom Hanks is such a phenomenal actor and this is one of my favorites of his roles. He plays a widowed father whose son tries to find him a new wife by calling into a radio show.

Sleepless in Seattle is a film about soul mates and what ifs -- it's definitely something you should all see! Makes me cry everytime LOL. Watch the trailer to take a closer look :)

Do you believe in soul mates???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
I know it's a random one but The Land Before Time has got to be one of the best animated films of all time!!!

I used to watch it when I was little and I just saw it again the other day and I seriously was bawling my eyes out!  I forgot how good it was.  It NEVER gets old! LOL.  Ducky is my fave.  He's the cutest!!!!

Watch the trailer...it could make you cry without even seeing the movie! LOL.

Sunday Movie: Clueless

I can't believe I didn't choose this movie sooner...it's one of my absolute favorites!!!!!  I absolutely die for Clueless!  Alicia Silverstone was so amazing in it, I used to want to be her LOL.

Honestly, who didn't start dressing and talking like Cher and D???  AS IF!!!  LOL.  I call Khadijah "D" because of that movie! I can't believe it's been almost 15 years since it came out!!!

If any of you haven't seen it, you absolutely HAVE to!!!!  It's a classic :)

What's your favorite 90's high school flick???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Only You is one of my favorite romantic comedies.  It stars Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei and I loooove them both!!!!

Only You, which came out in 1994, is a film about love, destiny and soul mates and revolves around the question of whether or not you control your own destiny.

Watch the trailer below!

So what do you guys think? Do we control our own destinies???

Sunday Movie: Sahara

Hi dolls.  Tomorrow I leave for Africa for a week with Kim and I'm SO excited!!!  So in light of my trip, I chose Sahara as my Sunday Movie.

It came out in 2005 and stars Matthew McConaughey, Steve Zahn and Penelope Cruz.  McConaughey plays Dirk Pitt, an explorer that goes in search of a lost Civil War battleship in the Sahara desert.

Kimmie's and my trip won't be quite as adventurous, and it unfortunately won't include Matthew McConaughey LOL, but I'll be posting tons of amazing pics!!!!!

You should definitely check out this movie!  I love it!!!!

What's your favorite adventure flick?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
In honor of the 4th of July, I thought Independence Day would be the perfect choice for my Sunday movie!

Independence Day came out in 1996 and stars Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith.  It's your typical Aliens invade Earth film, but way more badass!  Will Smith is amazing in this -- its probably my favorite of his films.

If you haven't seen it, watch the trailer below.

What's your favorite 4th of July movie???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
In honor of my birthday weekend (I turned 25 yesterday) I thought Sixteen Candles would be the perfect choice for my Sunday Movie.  It's a MUST-SEE for those of you who haven't already!  It's the ultimate 80s teen flick!

Molly Ringwald plays Samantha, a teenage girl whose sixteenth birthday is forgotten by her entire family as they all frantically prepare for her older, "perfect" sister's wedding.  I don't know what I would do if my family ever forgot mine...I would disown them!!!! LOL.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time and you guys have to check it out!  Watch the trailer below.  Thank you soooo much for all of the birthday wishes...you guys are the best!!!!!! xoxo

What's your favorite 80s teen movie?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
I know I say this a lot, but Fried Green Tomatoes seriously is the BEST movie of all time!!!!!  OMG it's a must-see!  It came out in 1991 and stars Kathy Bates, Mary-Louise Parker, Mary Stuart Masterson and Jessica Tandy.

It's a story about family, friendship and strength and is definitely a flick to watch with your girlfriends, your mom or your sisters :)  It's certainly a Kardashian girl favorite!

What movies do you like to watch with family or friends???

Since I am currently residing in beautiful MIAMI, I figured it would only make sense to pick a Sunday movie that takes place here!  So I went with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective...one of the funniest movies of all time!

Jim Carrey stars in it alongside Courtney Cox -- I'm pretty sure this was her first big film.  This is truly Jim Carrey at this absolute funniest.  Just watch the trailer and you'll see what I mean ;)

Do you guys know of any good movies I can watch that are based in MIA???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
In light of today's holiday, I chose Stepmom as my Sunday movie!  It came out in 1998 and stars Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts and Ed Harris -- quite the all-star cast!

It's definitely a tearjerker, but it's still an incredible film about the bond between a terminally-ill woman and her children and the struggle to accept the new woman in her ex-husband's life for the sake of her kids.  For such a sad movie, there are so many happy, touching family moments in it...definitely a flick you'll want to watch with your mom!

Check out the trailer!

What movies do you guys like to watch with your moms?

Since I'm in Vegas this weekend, I wanted to do a Vegas-related movie today and Ocean's Eleven was definitely the first one that came to mind.  It's one of my favorite movies of all time -- not only is it an action flick, it's hilarious as well...not to mention soooo many HOT men!!!!  LOL.  It seriously has one of the best casts ever -- George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon....need I say more???

Watch the trailer and you'll know what I'm talking about ;)

Have you guys seen this movie?

Sunday Movie: Selena

Selena is one of my favorite movies of all time!  I die for this movie!!!!  I watch it probably once a week.  What tragic, great true story.  She was and is such a talent!

J-Lo played Selena and I think this was actually her big break!  She was amaaaazing in it!!!  I remember my dad took Rob and me to see it in Palm Springs when it first opened.

Ok now I have to go watch it LOL.  Makes me cry every time!!!!!

Have you guys seen this movie?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
I chose 13 going on 30 in honor of Kourt's 30th birthday which I am currently in Mexico celebrating!!!

Jennifer Garner plays Jenna Rink, a woman who went to sleep on her 13th birthday and woke up as a 30-year-old successful and glamorous magazine editor.  Jenna immediately has to adjust to being an adult but can't hide the fact that she is truly a kid at heart (kind of like Kourt LOL...youngest 30-year-old I know).

Jennifer Garner is SO cute in this movie!  It's one of my favorite silly chick flicks.  Watch the trailer to get a better idea of what 13 Going on 30 is all about :)

Don't forget to leave me your movie suggestions -- I love reading through all of them! What's your favorite chick flick???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Hi dolls.  So as you guys know, Kim recently had her film debut in the comedy Disaster Movie!  We were all SO proud of her and she did such a great job!

The movie was recently released on DVD and you all should definitely check it out!  Yayyyyy Kimmie!!!!!!!!

Have any of you already seen it?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Teen Witch is seriously one of the greatest cheeseball movies of ALL time!!!!  It came out in the late 80s and is about a nerdy high school girl who finds out she's a witch and makes every wish she's ever had come true!  It's hilarious!

Watch the trailer and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about!

What's your favorite cheesy movie???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
OMG this was my movie! Jason's Lyric, starring Jada Pinkett-Smith and Allen Payne, is a film about one man's struggle to choose between his love for Lyric (Jada) and the life they could potentially share together, and the responsibility and loyalty he feels toward his troubled family.

I watch all types of movies -- if you haven't already noticed my Sunday movie genres can be pretty random, LOL.  But this one in particular I absolutely die for!  I watched it almost everyday one summer.

Anyway, watch the trailer and let me know what you think.

Don't miss the premiere of Celebrity Apprentice tonight at 9:00pm on NBC!!!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Ok, so who remembers what Patrick Dempsey was like before he was Dr. McDreamy?  Well prior to playing the world's sexiest doctor on Grey's Anatomy, he took on nerd roles such as Ronald Miller in one of my favorite movies, Can't Buy Me Love.

Watch the trailer below if you want to see an adorable adolescent Patrick Dempsey.

So I actually thought of this movie when I was reading through all of your comments and one of you suggested this -- I had forgotten how much I love this movie!

Welcome to the Dollhouse I seriously think is one of the greatest movies of all time!!!  Nicole Richie and I used to be attached at the hip when we were younger and literally every day after school we would watch this.  Come to think of it, every time I see Nicole she reminds me about that LOL.

I LOVE when Dawn mouths curse words in front of her little sister -- I always do that to Kendall and Kylie!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Have you guys seen this movie? OMG it is amazing!!! I swear this would be my family! We would never want to miss the opportunity of having our parents gone and the house to ourselves for the whole summer LOL! That would have been amazing!

Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead came out in 1991 and stars Christina Applegate -- she's so young in this!!!  Christina plays Sue Ellen, the oldest sibling of five, and her outfits in this movie are absolutely hilarious -- SO nineties!  Her mother goes away for the summer and leaves her and her brothers and sister with an old, evil babysitter!  Well, from the title, you can guess what happens.

Watch the trailer to see what it's really all about!

What are your favorite nineties movies???

When in need of a good laugh, Coming to America (1988) definitely gets the job done!

Eddie Murphy plays Prince Akeem, who upon his 21st birthday is about to be forced to marry a woman he has never met before.  He decides to break the tradition of his country, Zamunda, to travel to America in search of a wife.  Eddie Murphy is absolutely hilarious in this film, I definitely think it's one of his best.

Coming to America is just fun movie that you can watch no matter what mood you're in!

There's nothing I love more than a good comedy suggestion so please leave some in a comments!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Ok so I totally forgot this movie until Kourtney asked me which movie I used to ALWAYS watch on repeat!

Why Do Fools Fall In Love, which stars Halle Berry, Vivica A. Fox, and Lela Rochon, is based on a true story about three women who all marry the same man and after his death have to fight to get a piece of his fortune by proving who married him first.

It's definitely a movie you should check out, but first watch the trailer to see if it's something you would be interested in!

And of course I ALWAYS love to hear your movie recommendations!!!

Sunday Movie: Freeway

Freeway, released in 1996, is about a 15-year-old girl named Vanessa Lutz (played by Reese Witherspoon) who leaves home to live with her grandmother after her mom and stepfather are arrested.  When her car breaks down, she gets picked up by a man named Bob (played by Kiefer Sutherland) who turns out to be a serial rapist.

Vanessa escapes after shooting Bob several times, but he miraculously survives and Vanessa is then arrested and charged with homicide, while Bob is labeled a hero.  You'll have to rent the movie to see how the plot unfolds!

The twins and I love this movie and we quote Reese all the time! "Look who got beat with the ugly stick!  Is that you Bob?" LOL.  OMG Reese's accent is amazing in this movie!

Here is a clip of my favorite scene!

You guys know that I love to hear your movie suggestions so please leave some in comments!!! Any good courtroom dramas?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
I wanted to do a Christmas-related Sunday Post since we're all probably still in the Christmas spirit!  On Christmas Eve, Rob, Adrienne and I first watched The Santa Clause, and then we watched Home Alone

We love watching The Santa Clause because we always say that Tim Allan's son in the movie looks EXACTLY like Rob when he was little.  Rob was such a cutie!!

Watch this trailer to see what the movie is all about (that is, if you haven't already seen it) and then tell me if you think the little boy looks like Rob.

And as for Home Alone, I'm sure you know what that one is all about. It's one of my favorite movies of all time and it never ever gets old. Macaulay Culkin stars in it -- my god was he cute when he was younger!!!

Home Alone, which came out in 1990, is about a little boy who gets left behind when his family goes on Christmas Vacation. Trouble ensues when two burglars realize a child is alone in a huge house and they plan to rob it. But little do they know that Kevin (Macaulay Culkin's character) is more than prepared. Watch the trailer to see more!

What movies do you like to watch with your family on Christmas?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Cruel Intentions, which came out in 1999, tells the story of privileged, promiscuous step-siblings played by Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar and their manipulation of an innocent virgin, played by Reese Witherspoon.

This movie is definitely one of my ultimate favorites and if I ever happen to catch it on TV, I always have to watch it -- no matter how many times I've seen it! Watch the trailer below to see what it's all about.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a good seductive flick?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
Napoleon Dynamite, which was released in 2004, is about an unpopular teenage boy and his struggle to fit in.  While the plot may seem like your typical high school movie, Napoleon, played by Jon Heder, isn't your average main character!

This movie can make anyone laugh out loud!  After watching it, you'll be doing impersonations of all the ridiculously hilarious characters, whether you want to or not.  Hahaha I can't even type about the movie without repeating the lines in my head!

Just watch the trailer and you'll get a pretty good idea of what Napoleon Dynamite is all about.

You all know how much I love getting movie suggestions, so please feel free to leave some good laugh-out-loud comedies in comments!

Sunday Movie: Scarface

Scarface is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. It might not be the most lighthearted Sunday movie, but it's still a must-have in my DVD collection!

Al Pacino plays Tony Montana, a Cuban immigrant who builds a powerful drug empire and then has to cope with the stresses that come with the business. Pacino was absolutely phenomenal in the role! Even if you haven't seen this violent drug movie, chances are you're still familiar with some of the movie's tag lines -- "Say hello to my little friend" ring a bell???

Check out the film's trailer!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian

Ok so here's another one that me and my brother and my sisters used to be obsessed with!!!  Drop Dead Fred, which came out in 1991, is about a young woman named Elizabeth who is revisited by her childhood imaginary friend (Drop Dead Fred) and the havoc that the two wreak once reunited!

Elizabeth's imagination conjured up Drop Dead Fred as a child for the sole purpose of making her happy, due to her absent father and slightly evil mother (seriously, I would absolutely die if I had her mother)!

I still love this movie! It is a fun light-hearted flick that will make you laugh on a Sunday

Posted by Khloe Kardashian

Sunday Movie: Newsies

Khloe-Kardashian-Sunday-Movie-11-23-08.jpgOkay you guys don't hate me for this one, but Rob and I used to be OBSESSED with this movie!  Haha when we were little we used to watch this at our dad's house over and over again!  It was on TV this past week and I was glued to the TV.  LOL.  Christian Bale stars in it and I used to have the biggest crush on him! (Still do!)

Newsies, which came out in 1992, is a Disney musical based on the true story of an 1899 strike by the news boys of New York against publishing tycoon, Joseph Pulitzer, after he increased the price of newspapers, which the newsies could barely afford in the first place.  So they all come together and form a union against one of the most powerful men in New York.

I don't want to give away the ending so you'll just have to rent it and see what happens!

What's your favorite musical???  I'd love a good suggestion!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian

So I haven't seen this movie yet, but it just came out on DVD a few days ago and I'm definitely watching it the second I get a chance!

It's about a family that reunites for Christmas for the first time in four years, and all the chaos and drama that comes along with it!  I could only imagine the drama if this were my family!  LOL.  I'm so excited because a few of my friends are actually in it!!!

Lauren London, Chris Brown, Regina King, and Columbus Short are some of the lead actors in the movie, so all you guys should definitely check it out!

I absolutely love a good Christmas flick...any suggestions for me???

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
khloe-kardashian-back-to-the-beach-110208.jpgI love this movie! It's so cheesy, but fun!! It's about Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello and their characters from the "beach films" of the 60s. Now they are grown up with kids of their own -- and they go back to place where their love really bloomed.

Unfortunately, it's not a perfect vacation for them-- but it makes for a really fun storyline. I think I'm going to rent it myself tonight! ;)

As usual, leave me your favorite cheesy movie in the comments!

Posted by Khloe Kardashian

Sunday Movie: Hocus Pocus

khloe-kardashian-sunday-movie-102608.jpgHocus Pocus is such a fun movie! It stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as three wacky witches -- so it's perfect with Halloween right around the corner!! I love watching holiday movies during special times of the year.

I'm going to make my sisters Kendall and Kylie watch Hocus Pocus this week so they can get into the Halloween vibe. What are some of your favorite Halloween themed movies?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
khloe-kardashian-forest-whitaker-last-king-scotland-101908.jpgThe Last King Of Scotland starring Forest Whitaker, James McAvoy and Kerry Washington among an amazing cast is all based on a true story! I love true stories! I get more into the movie because it was actual events, and this movie shocks me! Much of what you will see is true and did occur in Uganda's history.  This movie will scare the viewer because of its realism and how it builds up to tensions that are hard to endure.

Forest Whitaker did the performance of his lifetime in my opinion! He actually won an Oscar for his role in this movie.

My question for you guys: What is your fav movie based on a true story?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
khloe-kardashian-jasons-lyric-101208.jpegThis week I chose to share Jason's Lyric. It is one of my old favorite movies!

Jason's Lyric stars Jada Pinkett Smith and Allen Payne. This 1994 film is a romantic movie, but it still has its share of violence and suspense. Probably a good love story that you can watch with your favorite guy!

Allan Payne, Jada Pinkett and Bokeem Woodbine all give an electrifying performance. Forest Whittaker is also in this film and his acting skills are so incredible! Just watch the film and look how crazy he acts. After watching this movie I used to be so uneasy of him. He is that good!

Do you know of any good movies that seem to cross genres? Something you could watch on a movie night with your girls, but also something exciting and adventurous that a guy would enjoy too?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian
khloe-kardashian-sunday-movie-my-father-the-hero.jpgThis week I chose the movie My Father the Hero which was made in 1994. Katherine Heigl is in this film and I remember being obsessed with her in it! I also really liked her love interest -- I thought he was so cute!

This movie is actually a remake of an old one, but I haven't seen the original. Have any of you? Is it better than the remake?

Posted by Khloe Kardashian

Sunday Movies: Clueless

clueless-khloe-kardashian-movie-0928-8.jpg
Ummmm!!!! Need I say more! LOL I think Clueless is a popular all-time favorite movie. How could it not be?! It definitely is one of mine! It is a staple in my DVD collection!! LOL

The twins and I reenact the movie all the time. We always use funny quotes from the film. It is just a funny, carefree movie. Clueless never gets old. If you haven't seen it before it is a must watch! I'm guessing a lot of you have seen before, but if it has been a while it is definitely worth seeing again!

Sunday Movies: The Women

A new movie came out the past week called The Women starring Meg Ryan, but did you know that it is actually a remake of a classic film? The original was made way back in 1939. The original is better in my opinion, but originals are always better. :)

Which one is better to you guys? Do you usually like originals or remakes of movies?

Sunday Movies: Love Story

In my family, every Sunday my dad used to make us watch a movie that he liked. Sometimes they were so corny and other times they were amazing.  Some were so old and some were current. Either way it was a great time for us to bond and watch things that we normally wouldn't. I want to start sharing with you guys every Sunday the same kind of thing. I would also love to know any of your favorite movies so I can watch and venture out too.

khloe-kardashian-love-story-091408.jpgLove Story:
My dad made Kourtney and me watch this movie together. It is such an amazing unforgettable love story. The title speaks for itself.  It was released in 1970 but this is still one of my fav movies to date. It is similar to The Notebook. If you like love stories then you will LOVE this movie! Just remember to bring your kleenex. Trust me you will cry!! But, it is a well needed cry. I hope you guys enjoy it and please after you watch it let me know what you think of it! I really want to know.
