Hi dolls! As you all know, I love to cook for my man, so the other night I made chicken and dumplings for dinner and a blackberry crumble for dessert ALL from scratch! I had never eaten or attempted to make chicken and dumplings before but when I asked my hubby what he wanted for dinner that was the dish he asked for, and what hubby wants, hubby gets! LOL. Little did I know that cooking this dish from scratch would take SIX hours!!! I did a little research and found a few recipes that included some shortcuts but I decided to stick with the long way. I wanted to do it right! So after a looooong day in the kitchen, I served my first homemade meal of chicken and dumplings, and Lamar LOVED it! He even invited his boys over to have some! The blackberry crumble, which I also made from scratch, was a success as well! Hats off to the chef! LOL.
To my fellow dolls who love cooking as much as I do, I’m in need of some new, fun recipes and would love if you all could help me! Please leave your favorite recipes in the comments section below — I will choose one and then document the entire cooking process to post on my blog! And remember, I don’t eat red meat or pork :)

Hi khole my meal is more of a finger food but it is one of my favorites and I hope that you find it helpful it would make a good romatic picnic meal it is the stuffed mushrooms first off I get just regular capped mushrooms that comes in a container with the steams on them wash the mushrooms really good and take the steams off and will need to have a large container of cream cheese and crab meat and turkey bacon and all you will do next is stuff the mushrooms with crabmeat first and then second you place the cream cheese inside of the mushroom on top of the crabmeat you then wrap the turkey bacon around the whole mushroom and you will then take a toothpick and slide it through the bacon so that it doesnt unwrap while cooking you have two choices you can bake the mushrooms in the oven on 345 degrees until the bacon is crispy that takes about 45mins to 1hr. or you can deep fry the mushrooms in a deep fryer which I found is alot faster but soak the toothpicks in water before you use them on your mushroom so that they will not burn while cooking and I sometimes serve my mushrooms with wild rice and it is one of my family favorite dishes Khole I hope that you find my dish helpful and I hope that you and Lamar enjoy this wonderful dish and please if you decide to make this dish you must send me a reply . sincerely cj johnson

nyway i love cooking but what we cook down here in uganda would require you to have the recipes ordered from here and you might not like it…but otherwise keep the spirit of loving to cook coz there’s nothing a man loves than a woman who can cook really nice food….luv yah Khloe&Lamar..always
Here *are…DUH, Not proof reading. Oh well. LOL
I forgot to mention you can substitute the Sausage for anything you’d like…maybe vegetarian sausage, but it should be Spicy. That helps. I just cut and pasted the recipe. Sorry. Another DUH moment. It’s been a helluva day here.
the chicken stock is added when you want to thin it… this is not a soupy dish! it’s not suppose to be thick either… Kinda creamy! Add the chicken stock when you add the cream of mushroom!
