Hi dolls! As you all know, I love to cook for my man, so the other night I made chicken and dumplings for dinner and a blackberry crumble for dessert ALL from scratch! I had never eaten or attempted to make chicken and dumplings before but when I asked my hubby what he wanted for dinner that was the dish he asked for, and what hubby wants, hubby gets! LOL. Little did I know that cooking this dish from scratch would take SIX hours!!! I did a little research and found a few recipes that included some shortcuts but I decided to stick with the long way. I wanted to do it right! So after a looooong day in the kitchen, I served my first homemade meal of chicken and dumplings, and Lamar LOVED it! He even invited his boys over to have some! The blackberry crumble, which I also made from scratch, was a success as well! Hats off to the chef! LOL.
To my fellow dolls who love cooking as much as I do, I’m in need of some new, fun recipes and would love if you all could help me! Please leave your favorite recipes in the comments section below — I will choose one and then document the entire cooking process to post on my blog! And remember, I don’t eat red meat or pork :)

i need that shirt i luv it
With regards to the T-shirt Lamar is wearing, his clothing line Rich Soil actually makes those and more. Google should be able to provide you with all the details you need to order. I hope this helps.

Wow! You betta werrrrk Mrs. Odom!
That looks absolutely divine. I haven’t had chicken N dumplings in forever. This really brought back warm feelings of my mom cooking in the kitchen for us. I love the fact that you enjoy cooking and find so much pleasure in cooking for him. There seems to be so much love behind each and every meal. And when you have a good man that appreciates your efforts, it makes it all worthwhile.
I remember reading an interview you two did and they asked him about your cooking and he said how it’s done with love and that you put your heart and soul into every meal. So kudos for you for catering to your man!
Forgot to add:
I really think you should consider a couple’s cookbook. It could something like favorite recipes for my husband. It could consist of a collection of his favorite meals with pics of you in the the kitchen, and you both enjoying, with little love notes to each other!
Think about it girl! I’m not looking for any credit, just want you to come out with a cookbook. LOL
You must try Martha Stewart’s Parisian macaroon recipe (http://www.marthastewart.com/319525/parisian-macaroons). I was really intimidated by the thought of making them but it was SO easy and my hubby loved them :-)
HA! I don’t eat red meat or pork either- twinners!!!
Hooray to the ultimate Chef!!! LOL. Oh, I am so happy for Lamar that not only does he have a wife whom he passionately loves, but one who reciprocates right back and more. He has always had the money since he turned pro (about 17 years old); but it’s YOU, who have finally made a full fledged home for him. A home filled with love, glamour, style and warmth. Bon appetit Lamar, family and friends! Peace.
Amen!!!! Thank you so much for this comment. I read your comments often. You are incredibly insightful! Thank you for your comments and your opinions. I love my man and i am beyond blessed to have someone like him! There is no one like Lamar.

Hi Khloe,
My name is Cécile, I’m French, I love all of your Kardashians’ shows and cooking. Here are some of my favorites recipes. As I lived 6 months in Italy last year a lot of my dishes are italian ones :-).
1. “Ravioles aux champignons de Paris et aux noix” AKA Ravioli with Paris’ mushrooms and walnuts
Inngredients;
100g of flour
an egg
120g of Paris’ mushrooms
a shallot
a big spoon of choped parsley or chives
40g of “French comté cheese” or parmigiano reggiano
30g of walnuts or some walnut halves
A bit of oil
-Chop finely mushrooms and shallot. Brown them with a little bit of oil. When there is no more mushroom’s juice add the parsley or chives, walnuts and season as your taste.
-Blend it a little bit to make the dish thinner, stop it before you get a smashed preparation. Then add the French cheese which you would have grated.
-Blend the egg with the flour + one big spoon of water and blend it until you have a nice smooth mixture.
-Roll it out really finely, until you can see your fingers in it. Cut circles in it (about 2.5 inches a circle).
-Put some water on the edge od each circle. Put down a little spoon of the mushrooms and walnuts preparation you made in the middle of each circle and then fold up the pasta and close it by pressing a little on the egdes.
-Flour the “ravioles” quite heavily, then boilt them for 3/8 minutes (3/5 minutes if the pasta is super thin, more ’til 8 if your pasta is thicker).
-You can make a cheese and mushrooms sauce to put with the “ravioles”.
Bon Appétit
2. Melanzane alla parmigiana AKA Parma’s eggplants
Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves (don’t put them if you don’t like it)
1 big shallot
Olive oil
basil leaves
1.5 kg of eggplants
150g of parmigiano reggiano (or more)
2 bottles of tomato salsa (tomato + salt)
coarse salt
table salt
caciocavallo or mozzarella di bufala
-Cut in pieces shallot and garlic cloves, brown them with oil then add the tomato salsa and boil it for few minutes until the salsa becomes a bit thicker. At the end you can season it as you wish and put basil leaves or another aromathic herb that you prefer.
-Cut the eggplants on a length basis (around half of an inch each piece). Lay them down and put coarse salt on them for at least an hour and a half. Then water them a little bit to make the unuseful salt go away and squeeze them hard with absorbing papers to unwater them as much as possible.
-Fry the pieces of eggplants with rapeseed oil. Put them on absorbing papers after each frying bath to take out the excess of oil.
- Grate the “parmigiano reggiano” and cut the ‘caciocavallo” or the “mozzarella di bufala” in half an inch pieces.
-Put some olive oil on the bottom of a baking dish then put some tomato salsa then eggplants then parmigiano and then the other cheese you chose and re do all of this until you don’t have any ingredient left. Put some oil just at the start not between each stratum.
- Put in the oven for around 40 minutes. Then let it cool down for 5/10 minutes, it will be easier to cut portions.
Buon Appetito
I hope you’ll try and love them. Both recipes need some hours to do it right but they really worth it.
