Second Class Citizens Documentary
Hi dolls. I just wanted to share this video that a friend recently shared with me. It is a promo for a documentary that is currently in the works called Second Class Citizens. The documentary will encompass all areas in which gays, lesbians and bisexuals are discriminated against in our society. Watch the video below and then head over to the Second Class Citizens website to learn more and see how you can help! I seriously got chills when I watched this.

    Hi Khole,
I wanted to say thank you, I personally appreciate the support of yours by posting this video on your page. I am not sure if you read the comments but I was looking for a e-mail or some other way of sending you a message but did not find it, I am sure one is not posted for obivious reasons. This is a long shot but my girlfriend who has zero interest in the NBA (im a huge fan of bball) all of a sudden has been wanting to go to a Mavs game.lol. Well I have been saving my money and trying to plan things out to attend a game, she really wants to meet you. We are both full time students and full time managers, so a mini vacay is in order :). So I am writng to ask for permission, that if you are in attendance of whatever game we go to, if we could meet you. I know this is a long shot and we are fans of yours as well as your family. We both admire your passion for business, care for people and the world, and also how you all have been able to stay grounded through all the fame. We are not crazy out of control fans and we do not want to over step our boundries. So I do hope you get to read this long post, we are just two girls from San Antonio, who admire and look up to smart business women with a drive and focus for what they are passionate about. I am crazy in love and wish to give her the world. :) So it doesn’t help to ask. :) Well I hope this post finds you well.

    Khloe,

I’m not sure if you read these at all, but i just wanted to let you know how much it means to me that someone like you would post this to your wall. I have been following “Second Class Citizen” for about two months on facebook and have been absolutely moved by everything that they are doing.

My names Evan Garbayo and I am a Junior in college at University of Delaware. I have been happily and openly gay for about 2 years now. but it hasnt always been that way. which is why i relate so well with these videos and everything they have to say to gay people as well as the straight society. It took me sooooo long to realize that it was okay for me to be gay and it was okay for me to be who i was. I used to be confused and used to hate myself for being the way i was. It wasnt until i realized that “the way i was” was WHO I WAS. It took me sooo many years to realize that if you own who you are, no one can put you down!

I used to be made fun of so much in grade school for being who i was. I used to be called all sorts of names and isolated from my classmates for being who i was. I first knew i was gay in 5th grade. It wasnt that i became openly gay in 5th grade, because believe me i did everything i could do to hide who i actually was from my classmates. but no matter how hard i tried, my classmates always seemed to find a way to figure out i was gay. I struggled with who i was from 5th grade until probably my sophmore year in college.

In high school, i used to break out in sweat when people would say the word “gay” or even make an inquiry about being gay.

I guess what I’m trying to say Khloe, is that i absolutely relate to what SECOND CLASS CITIZEN is doing and the extraordinary impact its making on the gay community and the heterosexual people that see these videos.

    END OF STORY khloe !!!

    I LOVE YOU,

    Evan Garbayo

Khloe, please take a couple minutes out of your day to watch this important video. It takes celebrities like you, who care about human rights, to make a difference where the anonymous can’t. With great privilege, comes great responsibility, and I hope you will act on it. Much love, you are my favorite sister! xo
