My mother suffered from Myotonic MD since she was little. Unfortunetly she passed away 3 years ago yesterday. I know she isn’t suffering anymore and she is with her family, but I miss her like crazy! We need more people aware of MD. There may never be a cure but there is so many things that can help them and that is what is the most important. Things that help them live a little more normal life or make things just a little easier for them. After my mom passed we donated some of the things she had but I know its not enough. We need awareness! I am afraid that because Jerry Lewis is no longer doing the marathons and is not the sponsor anymore, that we will lose the little awareness we had. So with all that said, I really, really appreciate you supporting the MDA. May God bless you and your family!
