X Factor Episode 2 – 60′s Siren
The inspiration for this look was definitely the 60′s and I love the way Khloe pulled it all of – the hair, the makeup and dress. Here is a basic beauty breakdown to show you how you too can get the 60′s Siren look at home.
Fill in the brows focusing more on the outer corners. I used MAC’s brow pencil in Fling.
On lids, I swept L’oreal Infallible eye shadow in Iced Latte right up to the crease and blended using a clean blending brush with some loose powder on it. That sort of blends the shade as well as sets the shadow. 60′s makeup is all about liner – try a black pencil liner along the upper lash line and wing it out past the eye. Apply the pencil to the lower lash line but more towards the outer corner. I started the line at the center of the eye going out and connecting it to the line on top. I used Khroma’s black eye pencil on Khloe. Slightly blend both lines using a small brush.
Instead of going with a classic white liner on the inner rim of eyes, I chose a soft brown eye pencil by Make Up For Ever. This gives more of a cat eyed shape, rather then a rounded shape. Apply a few coats of L’oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black to both top and bottom lashes.
I swept NARS blush in orgasm onto apples of cheeks. Her forehead and cheeks are bronzed with Smashbox bronzer in Suntan Matte.
For Lips, I applied Burberry Lip Mist Natural Sheer Lipstick in Nude Peach and lined with
Lancôme ‘Le Lipstique’ LipColoring Stick with Brush in Inspire.
Voila! You’ll be a 60′s Siren in no time! xox Mario
