Hey guys. I’m sorry I’ve been a little slow with the updating lately — I’ve been sick with the flu for the past week and haven’t been able to get out of bed. Anyway, I’m feeling a little better so I figured this would be a good time to clue you in on my upcoming plans…that is if I’m able to get out of bed for them : (
I’m supposed to go to the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday and I’m super excited for it!! I will be so upset if I’m still sick and can’t go. While I’m there, I’ll be attending a dinner for the Human Society with Bon Apetit and Iron Chef Cat Cora with a documentary film showing and photo exhibit by Nigel Barker from America’s Next Top Model.
I’ll be flying home Monday because Rashad will be in town for a game that afternoon and it’s so rare that we get to see each other so I wouldn’t miss it!
Let’s just hope I have the energy for all of this by then. I’ll keep you guys posted with photos from the weekend!

Go to your fridge or the grocery store to get some lemons (if you have lemons leaves, even better). Cut up about two lemmons (keep the peels), get a pot of water and boil. Once you have it boiled and you can smell the lemon once you enter the kitchen, you are ready to drink some lemon tea. To sweeten it, use honey! It’s the best and really really helps sooth your stomach.
