For those of you who don’t already know, Ken Starr and the Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund are trying to divorce the 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California in 2008. I am horrified by all the hate that exists in this world, but there is something we can do about it!
Prop 8 doesn’t mean that churches lose their tax exempt status or that gay marriage, or marriage of any kind, will HAVE to be taught in schools. This isn’t about morality. If it were, only moral people would be able to get married. Over half of all marriages end in divorce. It’s safe to say that it’s us straight people that are ruining the sanctity.
This is about adding hate into a constitution that provides protection for all. It is about separating the state and opening the doorway for legalized abuse. Proposition 8 is about discrimination. If you’re prejudiced, then shame on you. If you are not, then prove it.

i can’t believe people could be so hateful to not only ban gay marriage but then try to further it by making those who got married, divorced.
Its so sad to me that even as far as we’ve come as a country…there are still those people who want to “bring others down” bc probably they are unhappy with themselves

I totally agree with you Khloe. I think the problem is that ppl are trying to force there views,beliefs, and way of life on other ppl. If ppl would just live there life how they choose and stop trying to control other ppls then they and the world will be such a better place.
Khloe I’m one of your biggets fans, but when it comes to this subject I will have to disagree with you. It clearly says in the bible marriage should be between man and woman. Don’t get me wrong I’m not prejudice nor do I treat people different from me mean, but it’s simply not right! I really think our world is comming to an end. Everything the bible reads man kind should not do, people have been doing and it’s sad and scary. Nobody is perfect, but this doesn’t give the right for the gay community to damand rights. They chosed to be that way, why should we change our constitution for them? Maybe I’m being ignorant. But for right now this is how I feel.

I agree with you Ana… I dont treat them differently, in fact I have friends that are homosexuals and I love them but like you said why would they have rights when they just chose to be that way? Nobody is born homosexual, NOBODY… It is a choice. So if they chose to be different why make exceptions? The bible says it clearly, its an abomination… California is like the modern times Sodom and Gomorrah… Its shameless…
