My Personal Experiences With Bullying

Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Her Experiences With Being Bullied on E! News
Hi dolls. I just wanted to share an interview I did this week about my personal experiences with being bullied. It’s something that I’ve faced all my life and it’s really important for me to talk about it because I want all of the kids who are victims of bullying today to know that they are not alone. It’s something millions of people face, and more importantly overcome and survive.

Watch the video below to see my entire interview. xoxoxo

I’m new to commenting on anything like this but I couldn’t help myself. I don’t follow any tv shoes or pop culture but after watching one Kardash epidose I was hooked. I just want to share that I think you are a rare and beautiful creature and are an inspiration to real women all over the world. I knew you’d made a groupie outta me when I got sight of some cheap mag putting you down for whatever stupidity of the week and got pissed off like you are a close friend :) I see a lot of similarity between us – we’re both Cancers (could be why we look somewhat alike, sound alike, laugh alike, have similar style and senses of humor, etc), I’m 6’7” (yes ma’am) and my two sisters are 5’11, I’m a healthy womanly size and they are much thinner and more athetic (and of course still beautiful in their own ways) and so I know how it feels to be bullied or compared to unrealistic standards. I hope for all the best for you gorgeous and keep it real home slice… xoxoxo

I Think you’re the most beautiful of the kardashians (I mean, they’re all beautiful) and also I think your nose is just perfect! im not like “kissing your ass” , it’s just what I think! and actually, the best thing you have, that not a lot of people have it, is your STRONG PERSONALITY! I love it!

    XoXo from Argentina :)

Khloe, I think what you are doing is amazing, because there are so many people unaware of the issue behind bullying and I too was bullied as a child. I think you are absolutely beautiful, and all the shit people say about you is because they are intimidated by a tall, stunning successful woman who can stand up to them. Your an inspiration to so many women! much love xox

Hi Khloe, I appreciate your efforts towards educating and talking about bullying. I am sorry you went through it and I know it was painful. I work with adults who survived bullying as children and am currently working on a book specifically for them. Also, getting support groups going. It is so needed.

You had made a comment (I think it was you but it may have been one of your sisters. I cannot remember.) not long ago. It was to the effect of you had been bullied. Also, these experiences are temporary. However, it gets better later on. Please, please stop giving false hope out there. It does not “get better” for every survivor. I know some who are on medication for depression, social anxiety, P.T.S.D. and have many skewed thoughts socially. Some cannot even leave the house they are so afraid of being abused. No, it never got better for them. I am not trying to be a downer but am being realistic. You are welcome to visit my site as it is for survivors. You are an adult survivor afterall. All I ask is you stop giving false hope. I see some on here went through it and glad they were not scarred for life. However, it is not that way for everyone. Some do good to function. Have a nice weekend.

    Take Care,
    Elizabeth Bennett

Honey if you’re against bullying, then why the hell did you bully Kris Humphries?
I think that guy deserves a better wife and family !
and I sincerly wish him so …
on the other hand you’re sister went straight to another catastrophy, and again we’ll see terrible headlines on why her relationship with kanye ended, and it goes on …

My daughter has dealt with bullying on and off and I have done my best to work so hard with her and her school. It is so wonderful that you have and do stand up for those who are bullied. Being the mother of a child who is bullied is so hard and I personally want to give a big thank you for always giving causes like this a voice.
    Lots of love,
    Sunni

I talked about a “bullying incident” in my blog today.
    It actually involves the “Kardashians”.
Thought you would find it interesting.

Mrs. Odom you are truly amazing. I have been trying to help my 14 year old twins with bullies for years. The school is no help. They have video of a boy pushing my son down flat on his back, and instead of disciplining the kid, all they do is scare my son even more so he doesn’t want to tell anyone. It got so bad one year that the art teacher contacted me because he had written in his journal how he wanted to die and would be better off not living. He was in an accIdent in 2010 that required surgery of his face and 4 metal plates and 18 screws in his nose so of course returning to school after that the bullies got worse. Then on September 27, 2011 my brother, his uncle, took his own life by hanging himself because of his wife bullying him so badly. When my son saw the effect it had on our family he swore he never would do it, but I have seen the signs starting again where he’s thinking about it. He just won’t talk about it to me. I have gone to the school board the principal the superintendent and no one does a thing to help my child. His twin sister try’s to stand up for him and in turn they pick more saying your sister has to fight you battles! What can I do to save my boy? I need help before its too late for him too. I am open to any suggestions you have because nothing I have done seems to help. Thanks for standing up against bully’s and please help my boy. He’s too precious to let the bullies win!!!! Thanks. Ellen
