Kim Kardashian Gets Flour Thrown On Her At Fragrance Event

Hi dolls. I’m sure you all heard what happened to Kim last week (thank you SO much for the love and support you all showed her), and I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them. I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!

We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.

First of all, I agree that animals should never be tortured or killed for fur and am completelty against all animal cruelty. However, it is a fact of life and EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs.
Also, everyone posting comments about how “their family is trash” and bad mouthing Khloe and her family this way, is just pathetic. People don’t know the Kardashians personally; only how the media portrays them.
People commenting rudely about her and the family is only making yourself look like the true bully and harasser.

Oh, Khloe. how can you have supported it when ur sister wears so much fur? just like your diet product – if you are so conscious about ur weight why don’t you use the product? Good luck on your masrriage – i hope u 2 stay together.

I am not one to comment, but this one has my attention. This blog post was not about FUR. It was about a act that was carried out and supported by a notrious group of Bullys that sadly had the medias eyes. That’s all PETA is about sadly, yes the core of their mission is amazing, but somewhere along the line radicals took over and made it more about how they could get attention: angry violent protests, throwing paint, flour etc on celebrities, showing horrible videos that yes are true but during a premiere of a PG movie where CHILDREN are present? I am sorry, that all says to me “look at ME not at my group”. Khloe, you are in a position of great power as in you can reach people and you know what? YOU HAVE. You are against bullying, animal violence and much more. You have never stayed quiet where you feel something is wrong and I respect you for that. Khloe is not responsible for your sisters and if they want to wear fur, that is their choice. If your so called FANS can’t appreciate that and see what this post was all about, then they arent worth the “love”.

As for PETA: I saw this article yesterday and I think it says it BEST.

    I’d rather go naked than….
    •Bottle feed orphaned kittens.
•Foster a dog while he recovers from being hit by a car.
•Trap, Neuter and Return feral cats.
    •Organize an offsite adoption event.
•Allow pit bulls to continue breathing.
•Put up a Petfinder site to advertise the pets PeTA takes into its so-called “shelter”.
•Send an email blast to PeTA membership about the adoptable pets PeTA takes into its so-called “shelter”.
•Run out of Fatal-Plus and syringes.
•House animals until they are adopted. That would mean spending some of my $30+ million budget on kitty litter and food. Screw that.
•Show compassion for homeless pets who, like people, have a will to live. Do I look like Albert Schweitzer to you?
•Endorse the No Kill Equation. Who do you think I am, Nathan Winograd?
    •Support shelter-reform and access legislation.
•Admit that the growing number of No Kill communities proves that we can save 90% or more of all animals entering open-admission shelters if we just get dressed roll up our sleeves and get to work.

And people would see that the empress has no clothes, and they would be rightfully horrified.

Khloe: Stay positive and thank you for taking a stand even when it meant receiving backlash. Hopefully PETA will realize that flour bombs or paint throwing just makes those attacked want to wear fur MORE.

Oh please, If that’s how Khloe feels, then she never understood the issue in the first place. Or cared.
She only ever did her attention-grabbing, filmed-for-reality-series nude campaign for PETA anyway, she hasn’t done a thing since! And what hypocrisy to support an organization KNOWN for stunts such as flour-bombing and withdraw your support only after they target your dead-animal-wearing sister! Give me a million little still-furry critters over a Kardashian sister any day!!

you go girl, I agree on both subjects but the anti bulling has to come first…good work

    100% Agree with you Khloe.
    PETA are bullies.

Khloe says: “Not only has PETA lied to the public” …..what do you think your whole family does on a daily basis? That is how you make your money. PETA will be much better off without your support. You are worth nothing to them because your fan base is dwindling as they realize what true phony no talents you and your family really are.

Let me put it this way to anyone dumb enough to throw a brick, flour or anything at me….I will break your face. I don’t wear fur…but I may take up the practice. Half these ‘animal lovers’ on here have a problem with Christians stating their faith…they say things like “just remember, not everyone shares your beliefs…so watch what you SAY.” Yet, you condone attacking someone physically who doesn’t share your beliefs? Anyone throws something on me…it’s on. I wish Kim would have taken a little self defense class and shoved that flour sack where the sun don’t shine. Or how about a nice leather pump into the eye. That’ll work. You peta people always attack prisses in heels. One of these days it’s going to boomerang. When that day arrives, I will grab a bowl of steak and chicken and kick back to watch the show.

Khloe, your sister Kim isn’t the only celebrity threatened by PETA. Even Ted Nugent and his family have been threatened by them.: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=56303 I enjoy the spirit you ladies have about this altercation. GB!

    • Rand D Haga |  Posted on Mar 27th, 2012

Here is Ted’s actual words found on Wikipedia: “On the Penn & Teller’s Bullshit! episode about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Nugent claimed, “We’ve got reports and files with law enforcement across America where left-wing animal rights extremists are on record threatening to kill my children on the way to school because we eat pheasant.”
