Hanging Out with Some of the Coolest Kids in Botswana :)

While Kim, Reggie and I were in Africa we visited a private children’s school in Botswana.  It is the only private school in the area and they actually send their teachers to the more underprivileged schools to learn their curriculum.

The kids were so excited to see us!!!  We got such a warm welcome.  They were all so sweet and even made posters of us and hung them up all over the classrooms.

It was so nice to meet the teachers as well!  They were absolutely incredible — just so open and such amazing role models for these students.  They truly loved and cared for those kids as if they were their own.  I wish my teachers were like that!  LOL.  I was so inspired by the bond the teachers and students shared.

So how many African children did you end up helping? I thought you said you fed some. How many? Provide water for any? Send IKEA furniture to any? Any continuing plan or was it a one time deal? Just curious about how you are choosing to use your “fame”.

Khloe, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’ve wanted to take my son for years but its just not possible. It makes me feel warm knowing that there are people out there who have everything and still care about the lil people

@jessie – Who are you to tell someone where they can go and do charity work? How old are you? Do your parents know that you are on the internet talking crazy?
