4. Donna Borntreger |  Posted on Oct 7th, 2012 Dear Klohe, My daughter (Keona – 16) and I LOVE watching you on TV. You show us a world that we can only dream about, but at the same time, you show us a world of deep love, commitment, loyalty, and “down to earth”. We appreciate that even though you have so much, you have your values and you stand firm. I have been battling breast cancer for 8 years now … that’s a LOT of chemo and radiation. Cancer has NOT taken the important things from me, but it does take. Cancer has taken my physical ability to be the active mom that I always was … it has taken any extra money since I’m not able to work. For us, to order from the value menu, we have to plan and really be prepared to use that money. If you ever have a contest or something that I could try to win … for my daughter to hang out for a day or something (and for that time to live without stress) I would love to know …. I would love to give my daughter a few moments of “heaven” on earth. She has carried the load a lot to help me … she has the same values that you do … she serves and tries to help those that have less than us … she loves fashion and her dream is to be an opera singer (that I would have never guessed in my wildest dreams). Anyway, I really am not asking for anything but an hour or so that she could “sigh” and just live. We live in CA so I can get her any place (if you have a promo thing). Thank you for being a good example of someone that seems to have it all but still lives on earth. We enjoy you and your hubby and we wish nothing but the very best for you and your family.
