A Little Inspiration To Start Your Week With…

Khloe Kardashian Kisses Husband Lamar Odom
Hi dolls. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Rob Scheppy sent me this story and I was so moved by it that I wanted to share with all of you. Just a little something to remind us all not to take our lives and those we love for granted. xoxoxo

There was a blind girl that hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, “If I could see the world, I’d marry you”. One day someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?” The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected that. The thought of looking at him for the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying; “Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.” This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what our life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations. Today before you say an unkind word – Think of someone who cant speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food -Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife – Think of someone who’s crying out to GOD for a companion. Today before you complain about life – Think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before you complain about your children – Think of someone who desires children but they are barren. Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn’t clean or sweep – Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive -Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down – put a smile on your face and thank GOD you’re alive!

I love this story. I have a cousin who is blind, she has two kids and she will never see their face. She is my best friend. I remember asking my dad if I could give her one of my eyes so she could see. I would do anything for her, she is the happiest person I know, she never complains and always has a smile on her face. She is my inspiration to thank God everyday for what I do have. Thank you so much for that story.

This is quite a beautiful, yet SAD story. I have learned that we don’t know how LUCKY we have it until something CHANGES, or goes WRONG. I have had since 2007, (7)MAJOR surgeries, and even my doctors wonder how I can have such a POSITIVE attitude, and JOKE and be in high spirits. I said, LIFE can SUCK, and there is always someone next to me, that has it even WORSE than I do. Being ALONE is lonely, but being SICK is worse. I converse/PRAY everynight to God that *C* doesn’t come back. I eat healthy, and sometimes LET IT ALL HANG out. Yet, In all the surgeries, I was NEVER been afraid of dying. I knew that I had the best doctors, and GOD would be there during my SCALPO cruises. So, when I watched Kim with Kris Jenner during her FACE job, I sat and CRIED because I was so touched, that she had her DAUGHTER with her. It is hard being alone, but even worse waking up to an EMPTY hospital room. Khloe, sometimes we never know how LUCKY we are until things begin to happen that we either can’t CHANGE, or can’t FIX, but we try and think POSITIVE, and then it is always much easier, when you are by yourself, and can actually PRAY… it is a tension releaser/body relaxer. One can feel the STRESS actually leave the body. Good Luck, and STAY strong, kiddo
