Congrats Khloe!! I got married just over a month ago and it was such an amazing day!! Even tho there was tons of drama going on with my family, when I was standing at the altar about to marry the man of my dreams, nothing mattered at that moment but me and him!! The one piece of advice I will give you is, savor it, take it all in! The day is so hectic and surreal, it goes by so fast!! The day after the wedding I told my husband "Lets go get married again!" Because it was SUCH an amazing day, and it went by SO fast, that I want to do it all over again! LOL! Congrats doll!!!

But getting hitched this soon after dating is a HUGE mistake. I know of 4 different couples that did the same thing. They all got divorced within 3 years of getting married.

There's lots of things you wont find out about someone until they've let down their guard... that normally doesn't happen until a couple months or years down the road.

...I just find it really stupid and naive to think a marriage is going to work after only dating for a month.

Congrats, but less than a month, a bit short time don't you think. The problem is no one takes marriage serious anymore, it's a "wedding" they don't take the convenant of marriage seriosuly. People get married and if it doesn't work out they get divorced, the sanctity of marriage is gone now. Marriage is the new dating, if it doesn't work just divorce/break up. Sad really. If this love is true, then it shouldn't matter that you get engaged and spend some time getting to know eachother past the fun honeymoon stage in the beginning. hhmm.. i'm a bit sceptical.. I'm imagining a Keeping Up episode on the day of the wedding, getting ready, everyone is excited, then there are some wedding jitters and talk of second thoughts and "am i doing the right thing", then she is at the alter and then changes her mind right at the last minute and runs out.. You have chose to marry a man that is being said you've known for a very short time ???
I find it hard to believe that your parents would be so happy for you, knowing the high rate of divorce in this country. That being said, you can't help who you fall in love with or even how fast. So, if this is what makes you happy then you need to follow your heart. Just seems would have been wiser to get to know each other better. Even moving in and living with each other for long time before making such a committment. A piece of paper isn't what gives you love and happiness.
