I am right there with you. The puppy mills are horrible and not alot of people take the time to really look at what is going on. The way to stop this is to educate ourselves so we can help the cause to stop it. I wish i could do more.

If you love animals so much then why aren't you vegetarian or vegan? Do you not love the animals you're putting into your mouth? Every vegetarian/vegan saves approximately 100 animals a year (statistically proven. Look it up). Eating meat and being an 'animal lover' is utter hypocrisy.

Put all your passion in it (from what I see in your show, you are) and know that sometimes it will not be as "peachy" as it is right now. if more celebrities made these kinds of events and charities aware like you do, these poor animals would no longer suffer. my dad and I were just watching a short segment on the news yesterday on puppy mills, and undercover surveillance on people who fight their dogs and kill the dogs who are weak and give up. it was so disturbing i just feel sick to my stomach thinking about it. I give you a lot of credit for caring, taking the time, and being a part of these events and supporting them as well. these puppy mills need to stop...

I work for a small animal rescue in CA and we see so much negative that its really amazing to see someone like you standing up against the cause! Do you do speaking or apperances? Iam sure you do...we have been wanting to get someone famous to come and help us fundraise or draw attention to our no-kill shelter...we are in desperate need of exposure in our area since there are so many dogs currently in need of homes since the economy is hurting! its really hurting everyone...especially animal rescues like ours!

I agree, I've been to stores where there were puppies that were raised in puppy mills. It's very sad, because many don't survive very long after. I'm glad these inhumane stores usually go out of business quickly...

I recently rescued a chihuahua/jack russell terrier mix, Rogan, from a puppymill in Ohio and now he's the best dog anyone could ever ask for! Not only do the PUPPIES live in dreadful conditions, but think of the breeding bitches and studs that live like that FOREVER, until they're not wanted and killed...or the lucky ones...that get to rescues like mine.
I have had many scared, but wonderful puppymill dogs thru my home, and lord knows that we need all the support we can get.
