Happy Earth Day dolls!!!! Earth Day is a holiday that should be spent taking in all of the beauty nature has to offer us! Not a single one of you should be indoors right now! Well ok, plenty of us have jobs that keep us indoors, but you can still take advantage of the free time you do have -- spend your lunch break on a blanket in the park! Breathe in the fresh air, and think of a few ways you can keep that fresh air we all take for granted clean! Here are some of my favorite methods: use as little water as possible when brushing teeth and showering, walk places instead of driving, carry a water bottle instead of going through numerous plastic water bottles a day, carry reusable shopping bags, every time you hit your local coffee shop bring your own travel mug, and recycle bitches!!!! LOL. Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head.

Thanks for the tips Khloe. We do our best to care for our Earth at my house AND at work. We actually have a "green" team at work to help maintain everything. I took my niece to the park during my lunch break. Beautiful!!

Hi,i'm from Belgrade,Serbia (Europe), and I am glad to say that this is the first year of Serbia taking part in world action "Earth Hour" in witch almost every big city in world turns off lights in some huge buildings or on bridges.. I think it's a great way to save some priceless energy. PS. I'm sorry if there are some grammatical mistakes in this text, i don't speak English just perfectly, but you will forgive me, i hope :). And i just must say that i love you Khloe,and that i watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians all the time. Greetings from Europe!
1. Always have recycle bags in your car or on you, I keep in the trunk so when I am out shopping i get it before shopping, always put then back so you have them handy.
2. I unplug my cable box, toaster, kettle etc, still takes tons of energy while its plugged in.
3. I have coffee mug and SIGG bottle for water etc.
4. If you have a caf at work, use silver, or plates no styrofoam that shit is so 80's (believe me big corporations, still use it, its pretty sad, I re use my printing paper, I only print whenever necessary.
5. If you have a yard plants some green, tomatoes etc, save money too.

I'm a 21 year old soon-to-be college graduate (May 2009 with a B.S. in Business Administration), and I am DESPERATE to find a job! I know that in this economy it's going to be a tall order, but I have to keep hope alive. My mom is ill and on a limited income, so she won't be able to help me very much (if at all). My dream is to become a buyer for a store like Saks Fifth Avenue or Bergdorf Goodman, but there are many jobs in the fashion industry that interest me. However, since the retail industry is experiencing a slump (as evidenced by Neiman Marcus not accepting me into their buying program), I just want a job that interests me in any way, shape, or form (preferrably on the East Coast). Thanks for the Earth Day tips. If you really want to help the other you should try to eat vegetarian even if it is just for 1 day a week. That would do much more than not driving and I am sure it would make PETA pretty happy. If not at least try stocking more eco-friendly lines in DASH there are more fashionable and sustainable options than ever. Great job using your influence for positive efforts!

i would turn off the power when i dont use it and do laundry every two weeks because i have tons of clothes and i would use less plastic bags and less bottle water.

I planted some really pretty flowers, herbs, and vegetables in the backyard. Fresh vegetables are always the best!!

well dash doll me and the family live in boulder,colorado and here just like san fran we are trying to go completly plastic free,we recycle as well as compost.i was blown away to learn today that and you might know if you watched opra today there is a garbage pool twice the size of texas that stretches from ca. to japan in the pacific ocean this is astonishing to me in some places this cavern is 90ft. deep. i wish that there was some way i could help this situation. my heart broke to see all the sea life effected by this. we are killing our future on the one planet we all share. please guys lets all do our part.
