Malika and I took a little trip this week to Minnesota. We went to the
Mall of America. It's huge!! They have a whole Lego Land inside that
was pretty neat. They also have a bunch of rides right in the middle of
everything! I rode a few of them. I love rides! Do you? It brought out
my inner child!
There are SO many stores and I can never get enough shopping! A girl like me should not go there! But, Malika and I had a lot of fun and found lots of good buys. This trip was really fun! It was definitely worth it. Have you guys ever been to the Mall Of America?

Yes I have been there, My husband and I went to Minnesota for his army stuff it is really huge I and we really enjoyed it. :)
I'm sure you are aware that Middle America is bipolar. On one hand we have more than enough money to spend on nonsense.
On the other we have a self perptuating welfare state.

Yeah, I actually went to school about an hour from the MOA! You would be surprised at how often I didn't do there! The mall has atcually gone down the tubes in recent years. They had a contract with people who made the Peanuts cartoons (Charles Schluz, also a Minnesota native) but MOA lost the contract and had to take all the things with Peanuts out :(. Many of the rides you rode used to have Snoopy with them, or Charlie Brown. For a while it looked like a Peanut ghost town because you could still see where the characters used to be Plus many stores have left, resulting in many empty spaces and multiples of the same store in the mall. I hope the mall is getting better, but I was there last spring and it still isn't great as it used to be :(.
I am from Saint Paul, MN and have been to the mall numerous times! It is actually just the "normal" mall I go as I only live like 10 minutes away. There are a lot of stores but I only end up going to handful of them, usually Bloomies, Nordstroms, Macy's, Club Monaco, DSW, Coach, etc.

Hey, Mall of America is ALOT of fun!!! I should know, I've been there like THREE TIMES!!! Most recently in August!!! Hey, next time you visit, MOA, do what I did, take your i-Pod (or mp3 player in my case) and listen to your favoite tunes while you shop!!! Made my experience MORE enjoyable!!!
