Giving Back: Fashion + Charity = Fun
Kourtney, Kim and I hosted the Annual Style LA Fashion Show this week. It was a great event because not only did we get to see the latest swim and resort fashions, we also got to help out a couple of causes. Beneficiaries of the event included the Facial Paralysis Foundation and Stop the Violence/Face the Music. I love to do anything with fashion and charity.
There were so many sexy men there. Our wardrobe didn’t show up to the event, so we had a day to pick out our outfits. That was stressful, but we all knew that it was for a good cause and smiled the night away because this event was right up the Kardashian sister alley.
Keeping Up With Khloe: Kourtney Is Always Looking Out For Me
These photos are from the night that Reggie, the twins and I went to the White Party at Les Deux. We had a blast. EVERYONE wore white which usually doesn’t happen but for whatever reason everybody did it this year. I was so proud of America!
Kim was out of town and Reggie came along with Malika, Khadijah and me because he’s addicted to our family and he just doesn’t know what to do with himself when my sister is out of town. How can you blame him? I mean hanging with me is the next best thing, if not better, right?
I first put on a white dress, but decided I didn’t feel comfortable in it so I changed into a white tank top and white jeans and literally as I am walking out the door Kourtney tells me I look fat and should put a shirt over my tank top to cover my love handles! So of course, I put a shirt over the tank top which I am wearing in all these pics. Way to give me a complex about my body right as I am about to go out!
Giving Back: Bowling Before Jail
I originally planned on taking it easy the night before I had to head to jail for my DUI, but my sisters convinced me to go out for one last hurrah. We went to Matt Leinart’s bowling party for his charity foundation. I had no idea that the press were going to be there and that there was going to be a red carpet, but oh well. It was for charity and it was a really relaxed event.
We stayed and bowled for about 2 1/2 hours. Then Kim and Reggie asked me where I wanted to go for my last dinner before heading to the coop, so we went to Wendy’s. We pigged out in the back of Reggie’s Escalade in the Wendy’s parking lot, especially me because I was planning on fasting while I was in jail because I was scared of the food! We ate so much and then gave the rest of our food to a homeless guy who was hanging around the parking lot. Charity all around!
Khloe Knows Best: Skin Care
One thing I think we can all relate to is breakouts! Ah, it is the most horrible thing that happens but it happens to the best of us!
Personally, I never had acne as a teenager. But once I hit my twenties, it was breakout central! I was told that it could have been due to stress, or just my body was changing. My dermatologist advised me that it happens to most women and as unfortunate as it is, it is a prime stage of your life so acne is the last thing we want to worry about!
I have a few tricks of my own to fight acne–the first of which I’ll talk about today–so hopefully you will be able to use them too.
The most important way to fight acne for me is make sure to wash my face every single night! No matter how tired I am I must wash my face before I go to bed. Especially if I am wearing makeup, it is vital to get it off my skin.
I use Cetaphil face wash as my primary wash since it is so light and makes your face feel the cleanest possible. I have extremely sensitive skin and Cetaphil has the right dosage for me without making it too dry or too oily and actually helps my complexion.
Some washes can also irritate and make your skin backfire, but many of my own friends with different skin types love Cetaphil as well.
Then I use Ponds moisturizer. It totally makes my skin smooth and happens to be a great primer for makeup as well! I have used so many different moisturizers, and this one has just been the perfect one!

Khloe Knows Best: Eating Wisely
Following up with my workout regimen, as far as my diet goes, I truly try to eat healthier altogether. It is hard since there are so many yummy temptations, but I have learned to level all my habits.
I eat salads and organic foods along with my low carb diet. But that gets boring! So I will find little treats that make me want to stick to my diet and not binge later.
This time, I make smarter choices by choosing strawberries over a fruit roll up! No matter how tempting it is, I gotta do it! A sweet tooth runs in my family. We just can’t help it!!
Sweets are my weakness but I reward myself every so often with a snack, like Sour Patch Kids or something along those lines. I will eat sweets and desserts just not the whole thing. I’ll have a bite or so to satisfy my sweet tooth. After all the hard work and devotion in the gym, I don’t want to mess up!
I also try and choose water and iced tea rather than soda and juices that have tons of sugar in them. The smallest change in your diet can make the biggest difference in your body.
So basically, if your balancing your food and stay moving, you can not only lose some weight but also feel more upbeat and healthier which I feel like is the most beneficial!
